For The Chakras: Essential Oils, Herbs, Essences, and Resins, Oh My!

Well, Hello June.

It’s been a few good months since we had a blog. Many of you are aware that I took a big step back to help care for my partner during his healing journey. To some extent, I am still in that phase of my life, but better able to manage the challenges. It may not be consistent, but I will be posting when I can. When things begin to transition into a new phase, I will let y’all know. I thank you for all the support you have given me this far.

During this time of reflection, I have amped up on my reading, gardening, and herbalism. It is a journey of continuous learning, inner awakening, and, though sometimes challenging(the gardening part), I’m grateful for the peace it has brought me.

Some of you may be familiar with an infographic I made 2 years ago about essential oils for the Chakras. Yes, you probably know that one. For those that don’t, there was a detailed list of essential oils and resins to use in correlation with your chakras (Topical only). As I have grown, I have expanded this list to include herbs, essences, and absolutes. This list is personal as I have worked with all of these items. Some uses relate to color, topical, aromatics, oral, and spiritual.

I have included 4-6 items per Chakra because we LOVE options. Now, I won’t tell you what to do with these items as I really want to encourage exploration and finding literature you connect with. My only note as a trained Aromatherapist is that all essential oils are for topical(with carrier oil) or diffusion use only. Please, do not ingest. In regard to the herbs, you may use most of these dried, but fresh is OK too. :)

I know you will find something that piques your interest. Continue to find your path to Joy.
